KAIST 전산학부 부교수로 Robust Intelligence and Robotics(RIRO) Lab을 이끌며 로봇의 학습·추론·실행 능력을 연구한다. 의미 학습, 역강화학습, 작업·동작 계획(task-and-motion planning), 인간-로봇 상호작용, 자연어 이해 기반 로봇 조작이 핵심 주제다. 조지아공대에서 박사학위를 받았다.
