신기정 교수가 이끄는 KAIST 김재철AI대학원 및 전기및전자공학부 소속 Data Mining Lab으로, 데이터 마이닝, 그래프 알고리즘, 네트워크 과학을 연구한다. 대규모 네트워크, 하이퍼그래프, 텐서, 동적 그래프 구조 분석에 특화되어 있다. 신 교수는 카네기멜런대에서 Christos Faloutsos 교수 지도로 박사학위를 받았다.
