황성주 교수의 나노에너지신소재연구실은 연세대 신소재공학부 소속으로, 2차원 나노시트·나노하이브리드 등 저차원 나노재료를 연구한다. 금속 화합물과 탄소 나노구조를 빌딩블록으로 나노하이브리드·나노다공성 재료를 합성해 리튬·나트륨·마그네슘 전지 전극, 슈퍼커패시터, 전기촉매, 광촉매에 응용한다. 언더우드 특훈교수이다.
