김자영 교수 연구실은 연세대 신소재공학부 소속으로, 웨어러블 바이오센서와 바이오일렉트로닉스를 연구한다. 땀·타액·눈물 등 체액의 생화학 지표를 비침습적으로 실시간 측정하는 전기화학·광학 센서를 개발하며, 효소 기반 자가발전 전기변색 센서, 마우스가드형 요산 센서 등 헬스케어 모니터링 소자를 다룬다.
