물환경에너지공학 연구실(SWEET Lab)을 이끌며 수처리, 세라믹 막, 환경 나노기술, 이산화탄소 포집·전환을 연구한다. 나노기술과 3D 프린팅으로 분리막을 제조·응용하고 막오염을 제어해 건강한 물 생산과 재이용, 바이오가스 기반 신재생에너지 생산을 연구한다.
