주족 원소 산화환원 화학을 이용한 작은 분자 활성화를 연구한다. 불균일 촉매 활성점의 분자 모방과 내부 전기장에 의해 구동되는 촉매 작용을 탐구한다. CO2 포집과 전기화학적 암모니아 산화를 위한 산화환원 활성 촉매를 개발한다.
