생체모방화학, 신경화학, 기계학습을 활용하여 세포 사회를 해석하기 위한 화학·생물학적 도구를 연구한다. 촉매 껍질로 살아있는 세포를 나노캡슐화한 세포-촉매 나노바이오하이브리드와 다중 효소 반응기 시스템을 개발한다. 회전 등변성 그래프 신경망 등 기계학습을 분자 모델링에 응용하는 연구도 수행한다.
