촉매 설계와 입체선택적 화학 합성, 유기금속 화학, 부제 촉매화학을 연구한다. 다양한 비대칭 변환을 가능하게 하는 키랄 촉매 플랫폼 개발, 협동 유기촉매를 이용한 입체선택적 탄소-탄소 결합 형성, 새로운 리간드를 활용한 구리 촉매 교차 짝지음 반응 등을 주요 주제로 다룬다.
