이기주 교수의 펨토초실험실(Femto Lab)은 펨토초 레이저를 개발하고 이를 이용해 반도체 소재·소자, 나노 물질의 초고속 현상을 탐구한다. 공간 분해능과 시간 분해능을 동시에 갖는 펨토초-나노 융합 기술 개발을 준비 중이며, 레이저를 이용한 2차원 물질 광소자의 제작 및 분석 연구를 수행한다.
