KAIST 기술경영학부 김지희 부교수 연구실로, 경제학자로서 개인·지역 간 소득과 자산 분배가 어떻게 결정되는지를 연구한다. 경제성장 이론, 거시경제학, 소득·부의 불평등, 열린정부(Open Government)가 주요 분야이며, 최근에는 위성영상에 머신러닝을 적용해 북한 등 통계가 제한된 지역의 경제발전을 측정하는 연구로 확장하고 있다.
