About

생체무기화학, 화학신경과학, 화학생물학을 연구한다. 금속이 관여하는 생물학적 네트워크와 알츠하이머·파킨슨병 등 퇴행성 뇌질환의 연관성을 규명한다. 구리 등 금속과 아밀로이드-베타 펩타이드의 상호작용을 분석하고, 합성화학·분광법·생화학 기법을 활용해 진단 및 치료 도구로 기능하는 화학 시약을 개발한다.
