KAIST 공학생물학대학원 이주영 교수의 효모 합성생물학 및 대사공학 연구실(JYLab)이다. 효모 세포 소기관(organelle)을 재설계하여 세포 기능과 대사 경로를 인위적으로 제어하고 새로운 생물학적 특성을 부여하는 인공 효모 세포 개발을 목표로 한다. 2024년 4월 설립되었다.
