이승걸 교수 연구실(첨단재료설계 연구실)은 UNIST 신소재공학과 소속으로, 전산재료공학과 원자레벨 전산모사를 기반으로 소재를 설계한다. 연료전지·이차전지 등 에너지소재와 극한소재, 친환경소재 설계 및 공정 최적화를 연구한다.
