시스템생물학 및 바이오영감공학 연구실(SBiE)을 이끌며 수학·물리·공학 원리를 생명과학에 적용해 복잡한 생명 현상을 분석·제어한다. 암세포 가역화(리프로그래밍), 노화 역전 기술, 멀티오믹스 데이터를 통합한 시스템생물학 모델링을 주요 주제로 한다.
