계산정서신경과학·발달 연구실(CNDL)을 이끌며 사람마다 정서를 다르게 느끼는 이유를 신경영상과 행동 데이터로 연구한다. 정서적 경험과 뇌 발달, 정서의 계산 모델링, 청년기 정신건강(스트레스·우울·불안) 예측을 주제로 한다.
