초저온 원자기체(ultracold atomic gases)를 이용해 다체 양자 현상을 연구한다. 극저온으로 냉각한 원자 시스템을 양자 시뮬레이터로 활용하여 응집물질의 다체 물리를 실험적으로 탐구한다.
