KAIST 물리학과 김용현 교수의 양자 나노 물질 시뮬레이션 그룹(Quantum nano Materials Simulation Group, QnMSG)으로 100% 이론·계산 연구실이다. 제일원리 전자구조 이론과 슈퍼컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 기반으로 반도체·표면/계면·나노물질·에너지물질의 물리화학적 특성을 탐구한다. 최근 연구 주제로는 마찰전기 전하이동 이론, 위상물질, 표면화학, 열전 및 양자수송 등이 있다.
