경상국립대학교 산업시스템공학부 조교수로 디지털전환(DX) 연구실을 이끈다. AI와 머신러닝을 활용해 건설·광산·제조·재난재해 등 대규모 복잡 산업 현장을 디지털화하고, 이미지·텍스트·지도 등 현장 데이터를 분석하여 산업 현장의 의사결정을 지원하는 디지털 전환 연구를 수행한다.
