KAIST 물리학과 민범기(Bumki Min) 교수 연구실(Photonics Lab)로, 인공적으로 구성한 유효 물질 플랫폼에서의 대칭성과 위상(topology) 및 그 상호작용을 탐구한다. 주요 연구 주제는 플로케(Floquet) 광학(광시간결정, photonic time crystals), 비에르미트(non-Hermitian) 광학, 위상 광학이며 메타물질·메타표면, 그래핀 기반 테라헤르츠 소자 등을 다룬다.
