Multifunctional Materials & Micro/nanosystems Laboratory는 외부 자극에 성질·기능이 능동적으로 바뀌는 스마트 소재와 마이크로/나노 시스템을 설계·제조·활용한다. 스마트 소재 연구를 바탕으로 마이크로 조립공학과 마이크로 소프트 로봇공학을 연계하며, 가역적 건식 접착제, 마이크로 LED·양자점 디스플레이 조립, 웨어러블 에너지 하베스터, 미세 유체기계 등으로 응용한다.
