정찬 교수 연구실(Cancer Epigenetics Lab)은 DGIST 뉴바이올로지전공 소속으로, 뇌종양에서 후성유전학적 조절이 종양 발생에 어떻게 관여하는지를 연구한다. 저등급 신경교종과 이차 교모세포종에서 빈번한 IDH1/IDH2 변이를 중심으로, 히스톤 번역 후 변형에 따른 유전체 차원의 크로마틴 리모델링 변화를 규명한다.
