김민식 교수 연구실은 DGIST 뉴바이올로지전공 소속으로, 정량 정밀의학(Quantitative Precision Medicine)을 위한 질량분석 기반 프로테오믹스를 연구한다. 고분해능 질량분석으로 단백질과 번역 후 변형을 분석해 췌장암 등 질환의 바이오마커와 치료 표적을 발굴하며, 인간 프로테옴 지도(draft map of the human proteome) 구축에 기여했다.
