이영삼 교수 연구실(S.A.M. Lab, Senescence-Associated Mechanism Lab)은 DGIST 뉴바이올로지전공 소속으로, 노화 세포의 퇴행성 변화를 완화하거나 되돌릴 수 있는지를 연구한다. 미토콘드리아·리소좀·핵 등 세포소기관 간 분자 소통과 수송, 노화 관련 단백질의 구조·기능, 진핵세포 DNA 중합효소의 분자 기전을 다룬다.
