박래길 교수 연구실(퍼록시좀·지질대사 연구실)은 GIST 의생명공학과 소속으로, 세포 대사에 중요한 퍼록시좀(peroxisome)의 기능과 지질대사 연관 질환을 연구한다. 퍼록시좀 생합성 장애와 감각신경성 난청의 연관성을 세계 최초로 규명하는 등 청각세포 손상 기전을 연구해 왔다.
