진미선 교수 연구실(세포막 단백질 구조 및 기능 연구실)은 GIST 생명과학부 소속으로, X-선 결정학과 초저온전자현미경(Cryo-EM)을 이용해 막단백질의 고해상도 구조를 규명한다. 영양분·신경전달물질·대사산물을 수송하는 글루타메이트 수송체와 수용체의 구조를 밝히고, 생화학적 방법으로 흥분성 신호전달 기전을 분자 수준에서 연구한다.
