김영준 교수 연구실(분자행동신경학 연구실)은 GIST 생명과학부 소속으로, 초파리(Drosophila) 분자유전학을 이용해 뇌 신경망이 행동과 생리를 조절하는 원리를 연구한다. 신경펩타이드와 특정 신경세포가 행동 선택과 감각-운동 변환을 조절하는 기전을 광유전학·칼슘 이미징·전기생리학으로 분석하며, 장-뇌 축 연구도 수행한다.
