조정희 교수 연구실(생식생의학 및 유전자 발굴 연구실)은 GIST 생명과학부 소속으로, 생식과 발생 현상에 관여하는 새로운 유전자를 발굴하고 그 기능을 분석한다. 생물정보학을 활용해 lncRNA, 남성 생식, 배아 발생, 수정 등의 분자 조절 기전을 규명하며, 관련 연구를 Science Advances 등에 발표하였다.
