손흥선 교수 연구실(전자기 시스템 및 제어 실험실, Electromechanical System and Control Lab, ESCL)은 UNIST 기계공학과 소속으로, 전기·기계·항공공학과 첨단 전자·제어 시스템을 통합하는 이론과 방법론을 연구한다. 전자기 액추에이터·센서(자기유도 단층촬영 포함), 구형 모터(다자유도 액추에이터), 비선형 제어, 무인기(UAV)·개인용 비행체(PAV)의 설계와 제어를 다룬다.
