면역학과 피부과학을 연구하며, 피부와 점막 조직에 상주하는 면역세포를 탐구합니다. 조직 상주 B세포와 T세포가 순환 면역세포와 독립적으로 질병의 발병과 치료 반응에 어떻게 기여하는지 규명합니다. 임상 시료와 동물 모델을 활용해 감염, 염증질환, 자가면역질환, 종양 등 다양한 피부·점막 질환을 연구합니다.
