중개면역학, 바이러스면역학, 백신학을 연구하는 중개면역·백신학 연구실을 이끕니다. 암, 난치성 감염, 자가면역질환 등 면역 관련 질환을 대상으로 종양 미세환경의 소진 T세포 특성 분석, 신종 바이러스 감염에 대한 방어면역과 백신 치료제 개발, 간질환의 면역 기전 연구를 수행합니다. 임상 연구자와 협력하여 환자 시료와 질환 모델을 활용합니다.
