강린우 교수 연구실(구조생물학 연구실)은 건국대 생명과학과 소속으로, X-선 결정학을 이용해 단백질 효소의 3차원 구조를 규명하고 촉매·진화 메커니즘을 연구한다. 비타민 B6 활성형 PLP 조효소가 직접 구조 변화를 일으켜 효소 촉매작용을 수행함을 구조 결정으로 밝힌 바 있으며, 2006년 노벨화학상 수상자 로저 콘버그 석학교수와 공동 연구를 진행해 왔다.
