김남수 교수 연구실(신뢰성 기반 최적설계 연구실, RBDO Lab)은 건국대 기계공학과(기계설계학과 트랙) 소속으로, 신뢰성 기반 최적설계(RBDO)와 고장·수명 예지(PHM)를 연구한다. 열화 메커니즘 기반 가속수명시험 설계, 기계·전자·신재생에너지 부품 및 시스템의 신뢰성 평가와 수명 예측을 수행한다.
