한창석 교수 연구실(진화생태학 연구실)은 경희대 생명과학과 소속으로, 행동생태학과 양적유전학을 융합하여 동물 행동의 진화를 연구한다. 소금쟁이·귀뚜라미 등 작은 곤충을 모델로 개체 간 성격(personality) 차이가 생태적 조건과 어떻게 상호작용하며 진화에 영향을 주는지, 사회적 행동의 진화와 암수 간 진화적 갈등 등을 다룬다.
