정용석 교수 연구실(분자바이러스학 연구실)은 경희대 생명과학과 소속으로, RNA 바이러스에 의한 인체 지속감염 현상의 분자생물학적 메커니즘을 연구한다. 일본뇌염바이러스를 모델 바이러스로 이용하며, 먹는 물을 통해 전파되는 수인성 바이러스의 분자생태학적 연구도 함께 수행한다.
