김집 교수 연구실(EGO Lab)은 KENTECH 에너지공학부(Grid Modernization) 소속으로, 전력망 최적화와 전력시스템 경제를 연구한다. 스마트그리드, 전력시스템 운영·계획, 전력망 탈탄소화와 재생에너지 통합을 위한 수리모델·최적화 알고리즘을 다루며, 교수는 뉴욕대(NYU) 전기공학 박사로 컬럼비아대 박사후연구원을 거쳤다.
