KAIST 기계공학과 오왕열(Wang-Yuhl Oh) 교수의 생체광학영상 연구실(Biomedical Photonic Imaging Lab)이다. 광간섭단층촬영(OCT)을 비롯한 첨단 광학 영상 기술을 개발하여 관상동맥 혈관내 영상, 망막 영상 등 생의학 진단에 적용한다. 초고속 위상안정 3D OCT 시스템, 혈관내 광주파수영역영상(OFDI) 등 차세대 의료광학 영상 시스템 개발이 주요 연구 분야다.
