KAIST 전기및전자공학부 장민석(Min Seok Jang) 교수의 Nano Optics Laboratory(Jang Research Group)이다. 광학·고체물리의 교차점에서 나노스케일의 광자·전자 소자를 연구하며, 플라즈모닉스, 메타물질, 2D 소재 기반 능동 나노포토닉 소자, 폴라리톤 근접장, 나노포토닉 소자의 역설계(inverse design) 등을 다룬다.
