윤재웅 교수 연구실은 한양대 물리학과 소속으로, 미세구조 광학과 위상광학을 연구한다. 위상학적 속박상태(topological bound state)를 이용한 빛의 방향 제어 기술을 세계 최초로 실험 증명하고, 비-에르미트 광학에서 광 주파수 영역의 에너지 차이 보존을 처음으로 관측했다.
