미세유체 및 연성물질 연구실(Microfluids & Soft Matter Laboratory)을 이끈다. 미세·나노 유체역학과 연성물질 역학을 중심으로 모세관 현상, 생체모방 공학을 연구한다. 생체유체역학, 소프트 로봇, 나노유체 및 재생에너지 응용으로 연구를 확장하고 있다.
