남인혁 교수 연구실(Extreme Lasers and Exotic Plasmas Lab, x-LAPPLAS)은 UNIST 물리학과 소속으로, 초강력 펨토초 레이저-플라즈마 물리를 실험적으로 연구한다. 차세대 레이저-플라즈마 가속기를 위한 안정적 전자빔과 초단파장 X선 광원 개발, X선 자유전자레이저, 실험실 천체물리, THz 발생 및 플라즈마 광학을 주요 주제로 한다.
