김형준 교수

KAIST 녹색성장지속가능대학원과 건설및환경공학과에 소속된 교수로, 기후과학과 기후변화 영향 평가를 주로 연구한다. 기후-물-식량-에너지-경제 넥서스, 극한 기상·기후, 기후변화 적응과 완화, 위성 원격탐사, 데이터 과학 및 기계학습 기반 지구시스템 모델링을 다루는 Meta Earth Lab(구 HydroKlima Lab)을 이끈다. 지구 에너지·물·탄소 순환 시뮬레이션과 기후변화 원인 규명, 물리 정보 기반 머신러닝 알고리즘 개발 등을 수행한다. IPCC 제7차 평가보고서(AR7) 제1실무그룹 1장의 주저자(Lead Author)로 선정되었다.
