KAIST 경영공학부(School of Business and Technology Management) 부교수로 녹색성장지속가능대학원에 겸직 참여하고 있다. 스탠퍼드대에서 박사학위를 받았으며 미시경제 이론과 응용을 중심으로 경매, 메커니즘 디자인, 시장 설계를 연구한다. 또한 사회·경제적 네트워크, 블록체인·암호화폐, 머신러닝으로 연구를 확장하고 있으며 Metanomics 연구실을 이끈다.
