KAIST 전기및전자공학부 부교수로 Embedded Processor & Intelligent Computing(EPIC) 연구실을 운영한다. VLSI 신호처리, 디지털 시스템온칩(SoC) 설계, 응용 특화 프로세서, 알고리즘-하드웨어 공동 설계 방법론을 연구한다. AI·머신러닝, 멀티미디어 신호처리, 컴퓨터 구조 등의 분야를 다룬다.
