KAIST 전산학부 부교수로 Vision and Learning Lab을 이끈다. 머신러닝과 컴퓨터 비전을 연구하며, 사람의 지도를 최소화한 시각 인식 알고리즘의 확장과 해석 가능한 머신러닝에 집중한다. POSTECH에서 박사를 받고 구글 브레인 방문연구원을 지냈다.
