동물세포공학 연구실(ACE Lab, Animal Cell Engineering Lab)을 이끈다. CHO 세포 등 동물세포를 활용해 항체·재조합 단백질 등 바이오의약품의 대량 생산 기술과 세포주 개발, 배양공정 최적화를 연구한다.
