박의용 교수 연구실은 서울시립대 수학과 소속으로, 대수학 중 양자군(quantum group)의 표현론과 범주화(categorification)를 연구한다. 양자 아핀 대수의 범주적 결정(categorical crystal), 퀴버 헤케 대수, 단순모듈 범주화 등을 다룬다.
