KAIST 조천식모빌리티대학원 하동수 교수의 VIL(Vehicle Intelligence Laboratory) 연구실로, 지능형 교통 시스템용 멀티미디어 통신 시스템 설계, 자율주행차 통신 네트워크, ITS용 무선 센서 네트워크를 연구한다. 인공지능·심층신경망 응용, 강화학습 기반 자율주차, 에너지 클라우드·스마트그리드 최적화도 다룬다.
