KAIST 전기및전자공학부 원유집(Youjip Won) 교수의 운영체제 연구실(OS Lab)로, 운영체제·분산시스템·스토리지 시스템을 연구한다. 플래시/SSD 최적화, 파일시스템 저널링, I/O 스택, 비휘발성 메모리 시스템에 강점을 가지며 최근에는 GPU 중심 컴퓨팅 시스템 설계로 영역을 확장하고 있다. 원 교수는 ICT 석좌교수이자 파일·스토리지 시스템 연구센터장이다.
