KAIST 전기및전자공학부 김주영(Joo-Young Kim) 교수의 CastLab이다. 컴퓨터 아키텍처, VLSI, FPGA, 하드웨어/소프트웨어 코디자인, 프로세싱-인-메모리를 통해 차세대 AI 하드웨어 플랫폼을 설계한다. LLM 추론 가속을 위한 LPU(LLM Processing Unit) 등 고성능·확장형 AI 컴퓨팅 플랫폼 연구로 알려져 있다.
