서태원 교수 연구실(임베디드컴퓨팅 연구실, Embedded Systems and Computer Architecture Lab, ESCA)은 고려대학교 컴퓨터학과 소속으로, FPGA와 매니코어(Many Core) 시스템을 기반으로 하드웨어 및 시스템 이슈를 연구한다. 하드웨어를 이용한 빅데이터 처리 속도·보안성 향상, 모바일 임베디드 환경의 인공신경망 처리를 위한 인지컴퓨팅 엔진, 하드웨어 기반 블록체인 시스템 등을 다룬다. 서 교수는 Georgia Tech에서 전기·컴퓨터공학 박사학위를 받았다.
